K, whilst wandering around the net searching for a fix i came across this. It fixed nfs5 on my system (win2k/banshee) and should work with all voodoo cards ie voodoo 2. The patch can be found at http://www.nfscheats.com/nfsrage/pu/hackspatches.htm
now im off 2 play nfs5 :)
