I came on the board to see if anyone had solution to problems,
only to find a multitude of others are experiencing similar
problems. My own personal glitch was halfway thorugh a race the
screen just locks, music skipping. Any time period between 3 and 30
seconds later game unfreezes and continues as though nothing
had happened. Can happen 3 times in one race, or not at all.
Worst of all 4th freeze usually proves terminal and I have to reset.
No Ctrl-Alt-Del or Alt-Tab here. EA shafted us, they shipped an unfinshed game to satiate their
investors desire for profit. There is no support on website cos they
don't want to admit what they've done. Just pray your individual
card manufacturers keep shipping new drivers and they will eventually
get round problems. In the meantime bombard EA with snotty letters,
e-mails and faxes. If they had a modicum of decency in their corporate soul they would
issua a public apology on the web.
