NFS PU hates i740... why?

i might want to buy riva tnt2 soon since the price has dropped
anyway, i can only do that if my financial situation allow me... so well, for you guys out there
who happened to find any patch n stuff that can fix the prob wif NFS PU n i740.. do let me know
i'll be very glad to know that there is a patch that fix the game lockup prob
