Check that your controller settings aren't being dropped. This sometimes happens to me when I switch between a joystick and my forcefeedback wheel.

: That really pissed me off now..i played in Evolution, won the 1st level in 2000c mode, then in 2nd level i couldnt accelerate anymore !! All I could was driving backwards!! Thats a holy gay bug !! Fix that ! This happened to me now twice already
