Frames per second

at last...now that i have my 2 voodoo2s working corectly in NFS5 i was wondering how you take a frames per second reading?
im running a 300MHz AMD with 64 meg ram and the 2 voodoo2s and at 1024x768 resolution with all gaphics options turned up.
How can i see how quick its going?
i want to get a frames per sec reading to show me how smooth it should be going running...60 fps...if im lucky!
