Pyreneese problems

I just got the game, everything is updated. The game works perfectly fine except when I go into the Pyreneese track, it starts counting down, then when it gets to "2" it stops, then it takes me to the after race summary and it says that I came in 8th place. I didn't even race the damn thing. Also, everyones time was like 7 seconds. This happenes in quick race and evolution. Please help me, this is very annoying.
