GeForce DDR 256 / K7 Athlon problems?

PU installs fine and all, but when I click on "Race" the system hangs.
Not exactly hangs, cos sound stutters and repeats and the next screen doesnt load
cos the system is frozen. This is my config: GeForce DDR 256
AMD Athlon K7 550mhz
128mb Ram
Asus K7M motherboard I'm not very well versed in the technical aspects of the game/drivers etc, so any help
would be great :)
