NFS4:HS & Win2k

Is there any way of getting NFS4 to work with Win2k? I get an error saying "C:\nfshs\nfshs.exe is not a valid Win32 application"
NFS3 and NFS5 (after deleting gimmie.dll) run perfectly fine.

I admit that I'm using the warez version of NFS4 because it didn't want to install off the CD >:(
The EXE file isn't corrupt because I downloaded a cracked one from http://www.megagames.com and there was no difference.
