I've read quite a number of messages
reporting the same issue: in the main
menu, selecting any option will result
in a FREEZE. Any attempt other that
RESET fails. Sad to say, EA didn't
test NFSPU with any i740-based cards,
AT ALL (although in 3dSetup they
it's detected fine, and written to
Windows registry). Also, there's no
patch so far, and apparently there
isn't going to be any! EA Tech Support
knows about this but keeps quiet. They
don't care that you spend $50-$60 on
a game that doesn't even start! Therefore, the only workaround seems to be to buy a new 3d card and *hope* that NFS5 will like it.
