Porshe2000 on Win2000, is it possible?

Is there any way to play Porshe2000 on Windows 2000?
I nave installed and played Porsche Unleashed Demo on my Win2K/Geforce256 system without any problems.
Then i got out and bought the game (which is apparently some other version named "NFS Porsche 2000") and although it installed it never manages to get past the "loading" phase.
