Urgent! Can't play multiplayer internet mode. Please Help!!

When i select Internet mode. It appear a error message.
"The auto-patch file has become corrupted. Please re-install the game into an empty directory if you want to play internet multiplayer"

i don't know what can i do. i have tried to re-install it.
Please help me, THanks
