Should I buy? please help

I have purchased every NFs game (except V-Rally games) and I really want Nfs:Pu, but I have a question.

I have a Pentium2-300 with a TNT 2 Ultra 32 mb card and 64 megs of ram. Would it be smooth at 640x480 with high detail? I would think so, all other racing games are fine at 800x600. (Midtown Madness) Someone told me that my computer wouldn't run the game smooth at all. Someone please tell me how it would run on my comp. Thanks a lot
