Mercedes SLK
rating:

preview  /   download

author: Felixx
size: 1030 Kb

The SLK is a car in which you can have lots of fun. It's easy to handle, light-weighted and good looking. The version Felixx made is quite good, but it's too bad that it looks too much like the car it's made from, the Mercedes 500 SL. The SLK should have a bit more rounded shapes.

As the author says himself, it's a quite accurate copy of the original car. The dashboard and performance match that of the real one, and overall this car is great.

You really have to download this car, it look as good as the cars from EA, fantastic!! Version 3 is totally rebuilt, created from scratch. All airinlets are now modeled and not only painted, textures are remapped, and the tga-file is complete new. The car now has a real driver sitting inside, the main lights open when switched on and the dash was optimized.

According to many the C70 is Volvo's best car ever produced. Now you can drive it in NFS3 too, with this quite good modelled C70.

Pursuit Subaru 555

Finally there is a Pursuit car that can keep up with the Subaru's, and in some nice colors too , not the dull black and white colors of almost every pursuit car, but this one is actually in the Police colors of the dutch police. These Subaru's are used undercover with the dutch police, in the normal colors and even boosted to 250 Bhp and 330Nm, this one is not existing , but as there are loads of different police cars available in Holland, and this one just looks good.

Subaru Impreza SV (version 5.0)

author: Patwo design
size: 1400 Kb

The Subaru Impreza SV is derived from Subaru's -World Champion Rally- Impreza 555 WRC. The road version is almost as fast as the rally version, and you won't get so much horsepower for a relative low price in any another car. And, Patrick Wisselo did a good job with this car, resulting in a car that is almost the same as the real car. In a short way: this Subaru 555 SV for NFS3 is as close as it gets.

Lotus Gt1

The 3D model of this british sportscar has been made in 3D Studio Max, a professional 3D program, that's how this car got those great details. It even looks even better than the Lotus GT1 from NFS2.

RUF Porsche CTR-2

author: M.Beaulieu, T.Egelkraut
size: 1000 Kb

RUF tuned the Porsche 911, which resulted in an even faster and sportier looking cat than the "normal" 911. Martin Beaulieu made this very good car for NFS3 from the original Porsche 911 of Thomas Egelkraut.

Zcar II convertible (fantasy car)

rating:

preview  /   download

author: Thierry Biémar
size: 1080 Kb

I quote the author: "The 'IIs' is the convertible version of the 'II'. This isn't the only difference between the II and the IIs, this one has new sounds, a new dash that'll give you the feeling you're driving a convertible and one of the most 3D detailed model."
